1. Delete your account in the App
Every Sponto App that lets you create an account also lets you delete it from inside the App:
- Open the App and go to Settings (or your Profile).
- Tap Account › Delete Account.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the App's Sign in with Apple token.
Deletion starts immediately. You'll be signed out on all devices.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can't access the App, or the App doesn't use accounts but you've contacted us before, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and include:
- the App name(s);
- the email address or Sign in with Apple relay address linked to your account; and
- anything else that helps us find your data (such as a support ticket reference).
We'll verify the request comes from you (usually by replying to the address on file) and confirm once deletion is complete. Or use the contact form.
3. On-device and iCloud data
Much of your data never reaches us, so you control its deletion directly:
- On your device: delete the App (touch and hold its icon › Remove App › Delete App). On Mac, move it to the Bin and remove its container in ~/Library/Containers.
- iCloud: go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage, select the App and choose Delete Data.
- Apple Health: open the Health app › Profile › Apps › [App name] to revoke access and delete data the App wrote.
- AI history: clear it in the App's AI settings, or turn AI features off to stop future sharing.
4. What's deleted — and what may be kept
We delete your account profile, User Content stored on our servers, saved AI history, preferences and identifiers linked to you. We may keep limited information where we're legally required or permitted to, for example:
- transaction records needed for tax and accounting (we don't hold card data — Apple does);
- records of the deletion request itself, and of consents, to show we've honoured your choice;
- information needed to prevent fraud or abuse, or to establish or defend legal claims;
- de-identified or aggregated data that can no longer identify you.
Encrypted backups are overwritten on their normal cycle (within 35 days).
5. Subscriptions aren't cancelled automatically
Because Apple handles billing, deleting your account or the App does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions to stop future charges.
6. Timeline
We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request (usually much sooner) and confirm by email for requests made by email. If we need more time, as permitted by law, we'll tell you why.
